Default Re: Rattling fuel pump pushrod tube

The picture he showed above illustrates the pushrod.....but the upper half of the pushrod is surrounded by the slender steel tube that was shown in the earlier picture of the fuel pump stand with this very same tube. The tube is supposed to be lightly pressed into the bottom of the fuel pump stand. His apparently fell out and is dancing about on the small "umbrella" of the pushrod.

Remove the stand. Clean the bottom opening and clean the top of the thin tube. Put some locktite into the opening and press the two back together. After it sets you can reinstall the fuel pump stand.
