One thing you can do for the starter, if it's just a driver is to install a solenoid with a push button switch on the dash rail.

In addition to what Ford 1 stated, weak intake valve springs too. A vacuum gauge test would be a worthwhile test.(somewhere around two to seven inches fluctuation below normal indicates poor valve...

Check your front spring. I had the same problem, I asked the model A wizard and he told me my front spring was sagging. I took his advise and changed the front spring. Cured the problem.

Over kill. 4 ratcheting chain binders 4 ratcheting straps. the straps are used to pull down on the suspension.
I trailered it from Long Island New York to Florida Massachusetts. About 240 miles so...
