Generator two wires
I'm starting to examine details on a '30 coupe I bought recently. I just noticed that the generator has two wires coming out of the hole where the one connection for the cutout normally is. One is...

Re: Gear shift lever on a Model A
Bock in the late 50's/early 60's I drove a '30 Tudor as regular transportation. Including dating. Some things you can't do in the front seat of a Model A no matter how hard you try, but many you can!...

Re: Why it is important to check thing out
Model As are not inherently unreliable. Quite the contrary. In the 60s I drove a '30 Tudor as my everyday work car. Even on long trips it never let me down. Sure, there's a lot of maintenance to do,...

Re: Champion No. 20 Spark Plugs
Sorry - no. They are used in a bag with others. Insulators appear stained although I haven't tried to clean them. Points look almost new. Nice and clean in the combustion area. And I only have...

Re: Champion No. 20 Spark Plugs
No - just 20. Only have two ribs at the top - the rest is smooth. Not like the W14 I have which has ribs all down the insulator except where the numbers are.

Champion No. 20 Spark Plugs
I have just acquired some Champion No. 20 spark plugs. Without an extremely close examination they appear to be suitable for a Model A. They are two-piece, but do not have a copper top. Can anyone...

Re: Counterweighted Crank
Well, thanks all!!! Nobody has said it isn't worth the bother/expense. The argument that it reduces the load on the mains is convincing. Looks like I'll be having the crank counterweighted and the...

Be sure that the seat cushion is properly positioned on its platform. There are probably two vertical pins on the front edge that fit into holes in the seat frame. If the seat isn't placed back far...
