Re: 36 pickup stake pocket wood rails ??

The sides will be attached with old fashioned square head bolts mortised into the board.
I don't have the bolts yet but I'm looking for either 1/4-20 x 2" or 5/16-18 x 2"

I've notched the uprights 1/8"...

Ladies,
play nice,
no need to get into yet another pissing contest on the Internet...

Stuff like this gets threads deleted, members banned, and has even made entire forums fade from existence

Re: Canadian Antique cars go to new market!

Why is it so bad they are going to China?
Is not a Chinese car enthusiast allowed to enjoy the hobby like the rest of us?
Would it make any difference is they went to Sweden, England, or...

Re: Is this really true

He could have easily meant he HAD THE ENGINE BUILDER put in a 3/4 race cam and adjustable lifters....just semantics. ForSale ads are not well known for being grammatically correct.

As for me,...

Re: two carb setup

Yes, air cleaners can be restrictive.
I have a Cobra dual carb setup for a 289.
I had the carbs airflow tested with and without two small air filters. There was almost 100cfm less with the two...

Re: Why no Ford flat 4 and 6 sections?

I think you misunderstand my intention, it was not to compare the Ford engine to the Volkswagon engine but rather the wording being used.

I figure the plywood supported by the original cross-members gives it enough...

Re: locking steering column

This is an assembled drop with the key and the toggle in the OFF position. You can clearly see the pin protruding into the column.
