Brittle floor mat

My rubber floor mat 10 years old has become brittle. Is Dennis Carpenter the only place where you can purchase 1933 taupe rubber floor mat?

installing windshield rubber gasket.

Is the groove in the windshield frame supposed to be tight enough to retain the rubber gasket without the use of adhesive? this is especially noticeable along the lower portion of the frame?

original Vinyl top look

I have been using Gerots Garage vinyl and rubber protectant for my top and running boards. The running boards look great, but the top is not shiney.
Should the top be shiney looking?

This defect was not because of the installation, that would have given a tearing during the process. everything assembled properly. The rubber gasket was in place perfectly for 1 to 2 years. Then one...

I installed it..
I totally cleaner out the channel, checked every inch. I did not break during the installation but only after a year or so in place. I noticed the separation along the left edge!

the rubber that tore apart was purchased from Bob Drake. I am surprise because Dakes carries quality stuff..Maybe it was just from a bad batch.

I tried to superglue the separated area and it held for about 2 hours. I guess the tension was too much for the glue. Do you think jb weld would hold better than superglue. It is hard to glue to...

removing distrubutor shaft

Is there a way to remove the distributor shaft without messing up the timing? I am thinking of replacing my head gasket.
