Re: Carpet 34 Tudor Sedan

As said of correctness is important the never mind. I’m in the process of doing my ‘39 Tudor standard. I got my carpet from automarinepro https://automarinepro.com/. Made by Dorsett. I got the...

Re: 1937 Ford kick panels

Not kick panels but I recently did side panels for the trunk of my ‘39 using CAD. That’s cardboard aided design. Starting out with a basic shape and size in my case I traced the curve of the body...

Re: 39 seat springs

Thanks V8 Bob,
I thought of rebuilding the seat either with springs or with a platform and foam but as this started out with replacing the headliner and has since grown I’m pushing the boundary of...

Re: Headliner

Maybe carpet on the kick panels. Buy the way SMS fabrics has been a big help trying to locate matching fabric that I have on the door and rear seat cards. Haven’t got a match he sent in a sample...

Re: Headliner

Not headliner but everyone knows how things expand. Taking the seats out in prep for the headliner install led to filling the springs of the front seat with carpet padding to firm it up which led to...

Re: 39 seat springs

Finished stuffing my sear springs yesterday. Some of the rolls fit loser than others so I took a piece of hardware cloth I had and made a bottom for the seat to help retain the rolls of carpet...

Re: 39 seat springs

Reviving and old thread but thanks for the tip. I was going to tear into my front bench now that it’s out and sitting on the shop floor. Cover is very nice but the support is not.

Re: Headliner

Thanks, brushed cotton then. I have the old torn out and only three of the bows needed painting. The #1 bow was the worst so it got a trip to the wire wheel, two others got only the rattle can. I...

Re: Headliner

With 89 views and no comments maybe I need to rephrase my question. Any advice on headliner fabric, bushed cotton vs foam backed flat knit? Installation ease, has the longevity of the foam improved?

Headliner

I drove my ‘39 Tudor into the shop with intentions of replacing the saggy baggy headliner. Two weeks later I haven’t touched the headliner. I’ve carpeted the trunk including making cards for the...

Re: Knee Replacement

My wife has had both of hers done (at the same time) and one revision. Doesn’t do well with the drugs but did well with ice, ice and more ice. Best of luck and a speedy recovery.

WOWSER! I couldn’t deal with all that, I’d be more than overwhelmed. How do you sort through all that and separated the good from the dumpster/crusher? Where and how does the good stuff go? Health...

Re: Fuzzy stuff

I’ve found the kits, my channels etc are fine. It’s just the felt stripping on the garnish molding. I’ve seen the window felts with steel beading. My old stuff is just felt and was secured by...

It’s only a year and a half old. Not that old so I’ll try to revive it. 1939 Tudor standard sedan. My garnish molding the inside window frame has the felt or whiskers mostly flat. The window...

Re: Air Filter Cleaning

Re: Tool ID

I added a few more pictures and I see of it! Indeed it is a cylinder ridge reamer and I understand how it works. It came in a metal box with a New Britain label. Also in the box were another set...
