Roadster top irons - how to remove.

If the weather ever changes. I would like to paint the top irons on my roadster(31)... Do i just remove the plated screws to do this?

Headlight switch --- click or slide

Should the headlight switch on the steering wheel have a click when changing to high-low or off or is it just a slide into the new position?

I just got my rear backing plates off without removing the radius rods.


My problem now is getting the service brake springs off.
Any suggestions on getting rear service brake springs off.

Removing emegency brake plate-what am I missing

Working on disassembly of rear brakes. (31 Roadster). Removed backing plate bolts. E-brake plate will not come off. What is holding it on?

Question on the fuse holders- If the fuse blows, does it affect all of the electrical or just lighting? Does it affect spark and coil function?

Headlight socket length

I have 2 what I believe to be original headlight sockets.


Pictures shows a repro on the left and 2 different length sockets.


All are single bulb 2 filament.


any thoughts?
