Remember my dad saying when they parked outside in the winter when very cold he would put a little alcohol in a pan lite it up and slide it under the engine to warm it up.

UR market outlet is where i saw the offset hose, 1/2 inch offset 6 inch length. i know they are on ebay

I would opt for the 50-50, helps inhibit some rust and no need to drain every fall. there are lower rad hoses made with silicon that are much more flexible.

I've had my 35 on 12v for 8 yrs with 6v starter with no problems, knock on wood. Starts then slows down to an idle haha

I have always been lucky enought to free it up by putting it in 3rd gear, hold the clutch down and hit the starter

I have done that in the past also, but wondered if that would weaken the springs in the clutch cover.

Seems to happen in moist conditions, the metal flecks in the clutch disc rusts to the flywheel

I have 4dr doors on my 35 coupe. the modification is not that difficult. the coupe door curves down a bit towards the back of the door. Everything else is the same.

It worked well on my old 58 VW that used to be agave green, give it a rub over with the scrubby pad and it "blends" right in.
