I noticed that on your velocity stacks you have a heavy scren air cleaner. Be carful here because the wrong air cleaner can cause a rich mixture. always check yor AF with and without your air...

For the past few decades, I haven't used the engine powered fuel pump. It just isn't very reliable, so I've gone to an in tank electric, like the rest of the cars. Junk yards are full of them!!

Floating bearings
Tried to contact the fellow that ask me to help him but no luck The flathead engine had floating bearings up untill 48
They came on 2 sizes 32/38? not sure
Amd then 40/99a/48? these were the 2.00"...

The combustion chamber of these new heads are not that bad for a street engine, However the spark plug iz in the wrong place. Any place would be better than here.

B&S, is that the cam I sold you???? That came from a junkyard inder new management and all the OLD stuff was being scrapped. I got there just at the right time.

I use the 1.72 chevy buils in the street engunes instead of a cam. Gota shorten the valve some, but works just fine, no head mods needed. adds alittle more air, but doesn't kill low end torque,...

To save alittle money and have a better running for the street a stock or mild uild (Mild cam 258ci_ the merc intake and a 2gc carb will give you all the power you'll ever nees, plus good fuel...

I use that oil filter system in all my engines. It may not be the best but it works. I can also locTE THE FILTER ON A BRACKET BEHIND THE STEERING COLMN FOR EASY REPLACEMENT ANT NOT ON THE ENGINE./...
