What is the quality of king pins and bushings currently available from the vendors?

Re: King Pins
Only one's I've dealt with lately are Moog, and they are sets I bought years ago. I think in general most bushings will be good but what concerns me is the surface finish of the pin. The finer the finish the less the abrasion to the bushing, and I know we have been over this before, but honed bushings are superior to reamed any day.

Regardless of fit or finish, anything you install today will more than likely outlive you. JMO

spdwy1, where can we find a larger version of that avatar pic? That's funny right there. I'd love to save a copy for posterior-ity. |
