Hey guys I think that I am finished with the 29 Tudor!!!!!
Put on my new Firestone's today that I picked up at Arden car show Friday and a few extra new chromed parts! I know that a lot of you have seen this car before in previous posts but I thought that I would post the finished car what do ya think? I have had a lot of fun and "headaches" with this car it being my first Model A and I can say that right or wrong(and I am sure there is a lot wrong) I did it all myself but with a lot of your all's help here on Fordbarn and from my club here in East Tennessee and from some great members from the Smokey Mountain Model A club in Knoxville Tn. so a BIG THANK YOU!!! to all that has answered my posts and to all others that helped! As I said in another post I just turned 42 years old and I had Cancer 4 years ago, had another CT scan this week and still Cancer free!!! So with that news and getting the Tudor finished this week HAS BEEN A GREAT WEEK!!! So now I owe thanks to my wife for putting up with me and my hobbies and a promised picnic lunch out in the country in the car and to the most important to the Heavenly Father to let me have another year being Cancer free and for living in the greatest country on Earth! Happy 4th of July everybody! Thanks again everybody Robert DeBord.

Robert, looks great! It sure is fun to do as much of it yourself as you can, isn't it? That was the FUN part for me, too! And even better news about the cancer. I hope you get a lot of great drives with the family this summer. Make some memories!

A very nice job indeed! Happy to see you went with the blackwalls. They look better than the whites (or yellows) would have. Truely looks like a car of it's day, which is what restoration is supposed to be. As to your health, pray the Lord blesses you further.

It looks GREAT!!! It will mean so much more to you knowing that you built it. Anyone can buy one but a select few will spend the time hard work, headaches, and the need for Band-aids from time to time. All I can say is you are a craftsman. Enjoy Super Job. Ron

Great report on both the car and health. Now you need to have fun getting some road dust on those shinny new tires.
