Default 47 ford brake shoes

Other than the brake shoe cam holes round or 2 straight sides is there any difference in the shoes. my 47 has the round holes but catologs call for the straight holes thanks

AFAIK the shoes are the same, you just have to match up the adapter to the shoe to the backing plate.

Round hole shoes go on backing plates with the removable cam studs on the bottom. Shoes with flat sided holes go on backing plates with the permanent lower studs. There’s no switching the kinds.
