Default Carpet install and back seat removal--55 Fairlane

Hello all,
Im installing a new carpet(4 dr) but want to keep it simple. Is there an easy way to remove the 4 seatbelt anchors? I dont want to replace the belts.
Also is there a good method to remove the back seat to access the trunk, Ive only removed the seat portion?....Is there a special tool I should be using in both of my questions?
Thx.

My easy way is to buy a 6 pack of his favorite, and then call my buddy with the longest arms. He can usually reach far enough to hold the nut with a breaker bar while I take it out from the top. Either that, or get it high enough to get under it. Either way, it’s pretty much 2 people. Sometimes you might be able to wedge a wrench on the top and do it alone from underneath. But that’s usually an exercise in frustration for me.

You cut holes for the bolts in carpet before?

I can’t speak for your car back seat, but with the seat cushion out there’s often bolts at the bottom that let the clips at the top slice out.

You got the bottom cushion out YES? Is so, at the bottom of the back rest there should be two bolts that hold the bottom of the back rest. I don't remember what is at the top, but noting you shouldn't be able to deal with.

If you don't have the bottom cushion out, based on my experience with other fords all you have to do i pull up from the front and it will slide out

rear seat removal has always been a one man operation as far as I was concerned.

Can't you access the seat belt bolts from the trunk ?

Worse comes to worse, you can always cut them near where the two parts of the seat meet and push the remainder into the trunk.

The top part of the backseat lifts up out of a french cleat type bracket that runs along the top of the package tray.
