Default VE Day. May 8, 1945

Say a prayer of "THANKS" for all who served and all those who made the ultimate sacrifice to end WW II, May 8, 1945. We still need that Greatest Generation patriotism today.

Gosh, remember when kids had to say the Pledge of Allegiance?
No More!!! Supreme Court said "no" in 1943.

And I celebrate it every year . . . as it is the same day as my birthday.

God Bless all of the soldiers and their families that made it possible for us to win WWII . . . so many sacrificed for our freedoms!

Happy Birthday, B&S.
Yes, we have so much to be thankful for. I bet it wasn't even mentioned in most public schools.

Thanks a bunch! I was busy working on my new shop building . . . then went out to dinner with my Mom (was a great day!).
