Default Identify this headlight lens and rim......

I have had these in my parts stash for ages and thought they were '39's but a buddy of mine said guess again. The lens has the FORD logo. Can someone help?

You didn’t post the code, to be found on the lens: 91A = 1939. 81A = 1938. 78 = 1937.

Lens: 78- (1937), 81A- (1938 and 1939 standard), 91A- (1939 Delxue). note 78- and 81A- functionally interchange.

Rim: 78- (1937, 1938, 1939 standard), 91A (1939 Delxue).

My best guess is 1939 deluxe due to the rounded contour of the bottom of the rim, 1937, 1938, 1939 standard are more pointed.

Yep, they are 91A's alright! Thanks so much for setting me straight. I plan on taking them to a swap meet next month and I certainly don't want to tell someone wrong.
