Default Wheel cylinder lube

Back in the 60s NAPA used to sell little tubes of a lube for master cylinders & wheel cylinders to be used when rebuilding them. Does anyone know of a good
Replacement ? Thank you, Rick

You can lube everything with clean brake fluid.

The only time a "Lube" may be needed is on disc caliper piston seals. As marko39 stated, clean brake fluid is all that's needed for master/wheel cylinder rebuilding.

Raybestos used to sell an assembly fluid for wheel cylinders. I got some a few years ago. Very useful when rebuilding cylinders and then not using them right away.
