There are a lot of jobs on a Model A that are more difficult on a RHD car but that is certainly not one of them.

Thank you. I'm just a regular guy and far from perfect, so I always have to remember that there's potentially people who know more about the cars than I do watching. And ready to take to the Ford Barn at a moment's notice to beat on their chest and broadcast how they're smarter than me because I did blah blah... But, I know there are also a lot of new people and they appreciate what I do, and my work is getting SO many new people into the hobby now. That knowledge that I am helpful to a lot of people is what keeps me going. I am merely a servant.

Sometimes there is a struggle to get the bendix to clear the fly hole and not have the starter hit the painted water pipe or engine block, etc. Somehow that got skipped in the video.

Because there was no struggle. Simply pull the starter out about an inch, then move it up toward the sky until the shaft hits the edge of the hole, then angle slightly and pull it right out.

The only time I have seen an issue with getting the starter out is if you have the "Modern" drive, which I do...

The only thing potentially deadly is the improper use of using the hand crank while starting!!!!!

You Tube Videos are not a commandment from above and can be informative. I am a visual guy, I like to see how things fit together before I start taking them apart.
Granted some are lets say "interesting".
I use those posts to either learn or laugh.
I will admit that there are many that I click out of before they are finished. But I also know that there are folks that will be clicking out of my posts also. lol Chap

I agree. You have to do a lot more twisting of things to get the “modern” Bendix assembly clear of the flywheel.
