@V8fordman . I was looking for some 35 glove box hinges. Jay said he had some . He had a package already to go to @Lawrie in Australia. Yesterday Lawrie called in to home in NZ with the hinges. Visited for a couple of hours. Swell guy to visit with and a vast fund of knowledge. Nice to meet v8 folks from around the world.

I agree...Lawrie called in on me a coupla days ago, again with some goodies he'd promised me. We spent a good couple of hours talking old V8's and whatnot, he is a wealth of knowledge, I'm very happy to have met him. There certainly is some wonderful people on this fordbarn.

It works both ways, I got a beautiful smoko with home made date loaf ,hot out of the oven ,and lovely lunch with ham and melted cheese buns.
Well done to the two wife’s. Plus catching up with good ford friends. Back home tomorrow. Pics are Just shoe horning all my parts into the suitcase smoko stop on my way back from Auckland the other day On a side issue, there was a bit of excitement at the motel I’m staying in yesterday, the cops were chasing a guy who was supposed to be armed,he jumped the fence at the motel and landed in the garden outside my room, the cops got him and took home away, lucky they didn’t look in my room,as I had just finished wrapping up the steering shaft from my new 34 steering box, and was flipping it around in my hand checking the weight out, they may have got me mixed up with the crook.
