I'm sure some of you were members of this group on the H.A.M.B. The Social Groups are now gone, we were one of the oldest since 2009 and were very active, if you were a member I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the love and participation over the years.

Jeff, you were also a valued member of the '54 Ford Club of America before Don shut it down, thank you for working tireless with me as the moderator in the early years and then when I took over the administrator duties.
I appreciate you starting the 52-59 Ford social group on the Hamb, your infectious enthusiasm and starting the FAQ section has had a huge following. The 52-59 Ford guys worked with each other and I hope we do again, hopefully the FAQ's will find their way back, again Thank You Jeff. HRP

Summb*tch..no wonder I wasn't getting any notices the past few days. Thanks for moderating it, Jeff - being a quasi-moderator for VTCI's Forums I know it's a really thankless job when it runs smoothly.

I was a member too. It was a great resource, both for stock and off topic mods.
Thanks for all the time and work you put into it. |

I've only been on the 52-59 forum a short time compared to most of you. It was my go to place for info for my 54. The FAQ'S were fantastic. I was about to post my front bushing replacement project when the the forum went down. Thank you to everyone who participated.

QUESTION?....Is a new '52-'59 Social Group going to be started on The Ford Barn or are we just going to be part of the existing "54+ Forum"?

I didn’t even remember there’s some social groups here, let alone I’d sign up for the Yblock one. Not much action, the ones I checked randomly are all pretty old.
Maybe it’s time we think about that. The discussion on the HAMB about why Ryan had to shut them down might apply here also. Hard to say, and this is an old site. Maybe Jeff or HRP have some thoughts. |

I put in a request. On the other site I was "T Hudson" with a 55 2dr. Not sure I'm trusting of Ryan.... The group was the only thing I looked at/participated in over there.

You can trust Ryan. Go read his post why he had to shut those groups down. It’s a business for him, and a service for us. I’m just glad we’ve got what we’ve got.

Over the past few days I have had several conversations with Ryan,I was trying to find us a new home, I ran across the social Group purely by accident and ask Ryan would it be permissible for me to open a new account for the 52-59 Fords here, he gave me his permission and I ran with it.
I had no idea there were social groups on the Ford Barn and I discussed what the difference was with the Hamb hacked these social groups & the Ford barn, they are on different servers and the spammers have not messed with this site. I'm still working with a moderator on the Hamb trying to save all the FAQ's, hopefully he can help with saving then. I honestly believe our little group is more in line with the Hamb, we stay on topic and concentrate on 52-59 Ford's. I would like to extend a welcome to any of the Ford Barners that have a 52-59 Ford, there is a lot of knowledge, whither you have a original, custom or hot rod, everyone is welcome. HRP
