We had found a few alternator that come together with a Model A project car. It seems that they are all related to flathead V8's.
I guess that 2 are for a V8-60 Modell 82A or Model 922A Another 2 for a 81A and another 2 for a Model 91A I guess. But this one I don't know where it is used. On the body you can read "Lucas Made in England W25 C45" Last edited by miwi; 07-05-2025 at 04:25 PM. |

Lucas would be from England as they did the electrical for British cars. It's nickname was "The Prince of Darkness"

I recommend renaming your thread, none of those are alternators. All of those are generators.
The continental stuff is unfamiliar to many of us in the states, best bet is to get the attention of some of the Aussies, Kiwis, Brits, etc. who got the European parts. |
