After a couple days
with my friend Jim
in Visalia, California with
the 1934 Brewster …





I head to nearby Hanford, California
to pick up a custom engine at
Hanford Auto Supply

I am there waiting when the
owner shows up - we start
talking - the core of the
14,000 square foot building
was built in 1907 - I sense
a story that needs sharing
so I head out to my truck
to grab my IPhone …

Then I see a couple guys
headed in the front door
and it develops into …

That's a really fun video! What a great shop and a treasure trove. I love the scene of the ancient pyramid (of connecting rods).

Hello from off island …

Tim made a career choice when
he was still in high school to work
there and learn the trade of
engine rebuilding - then he
stayed there to eventually
own the business which
includes the building …

The best visits I have are
with folks who come from
humble beginnings and
regardless of how successful
they become - they never
forget how it all started …
