47 Truck cab inside winshield trim connection
Hello.
I wonder if there was 2 sizes of this part & if so, why? Can anyone shed any light on this part? Thanks. |

It looks like the top piece of the inside windshield moldings for a 42-46 ford convertible.it finishes where the 2 pieces meet. On the bottom there is a shorter piece with same purpose plus it also has a hole for the wiper switch. That’s what it looks like to me.

I installed the rear view mirror, as my truck didn't come with one from the factory. In order to do that I had to remove the cover plate (like the one shown). It's a blank-off piece when not using a rear view mirror. I haven't seen two different sizes of these.
