Default 1928 Ford repair ad

This was mailed by a North Dakota Ford dealer in 1928. Fun to compare to todays rates.

It's interesting that there is no street address or po box. I guess everyone in town knew who Chester was and were he lived.

What's equally amazing is the number of times this single 'document' has been posted on various websites over the years.

It's like the Paris Hilton of old Ford literature.

*Not intended to be bitching about it as there are some that haven't seen it, but it has been around the block more than a few times.

Thanks for sharing-----those were the days! In 1962 I put a new roof on my '30
tudor for 130.00 bucks. That was not just the top, it included new wood braces to
replace rotted ones as well as the wire support and fabric. The 130.00 was all inclusive for parts and labor.
