Default Gearbox rear seal

Hi All.. just had an idea to install two rear oil seals in my 3 speed p/u.
I couldn't get the right thickness seal.. 0.5" .. but could get a seal that was 0.38" .
The shoulder that the seal sits on in the tail shaft is 0.75'' deep.
Soo I thought since there is room i'm going to put 2 seals in, with second one packed with grease. The back one will only be proud by 10thou.
That should doubly keep the good oil in the box where it belongs.
What do ya all think?
Regards Kevin
