Anyone know what color the wires are going into heater motor? Shop manual wire diagram doesnt cover this.

Makes sense. Colors so faded hard to tell. Thanks. Motor works well, but old cloth insulation is very suspect. Going to get new cloth covered wire.

Touch a multi-meter wire, to each one separately and the the other meter wire to a ground. Turn on the fan switch and which ever one reads 6 volts is your hot wire (red).

Ground wire + was grounded to case. I just want to know correct colors. Heater guru on fte said pale yellow with black trace.
