Off topic - looking for 1955 International pickukp
I have a 1929 Std Roadster that I am working on. I only own fords as personal vehicles and would never buy anything else EXCEPT when I grew up on a poultry farm in Rhode Island my father bought a new 1955 International R-100 pickup truck. I loved that truck and would love to own one. I have tried to search craigslist nationally and google but have not come up with anything. Has anyone done this before and if so how did you do it. Also if anyone knows of one please PM me. Thanks for any help. Jim

Try "kijiji.ca"
Vehicles from Saskatchewan have no salt. Good bodies great patina. You can search all of Canada from here. I've bought a lot stuff from this website. Jeff

I have a couple IH pickups from the 40's and 50's, but can't get pictures of them until spring.

Re: Off topic - looking for 1955 International pickukp
Not exactly sure but I believe the 55,56,57 look very much alike. Nice truck. Ours had a 3 speed on the column. Didn't even know they made a 4 speed.

Re: Off topic - looking for 1955 International pickukp
might be a granny low considering its a 3/4 ton. Cedar on it is beautiful - not sure I want that much cedar on my truck but that bumper would make a pretty mantle

You might want to check Hemmings.com periodically.

Re: Off topic - looking for 1955 International pickukp
Jim,
Judging by the few listing the Barners have found, that expired listing on eBay looks like the best. The engine looks pretty crapping considering it being offered as rebuilt. I think even though its expired you can still contact the seller. Find out if its still available and if he will relist it. Good luck with your search. |

Re: Off topic - looking for 1955 International pickukp
The Facebook site from post 7 has a us map of license plates. At first I thought it was from America’s car museum in Tacoma. But it’s made of different plates. I wonder if someone makes these?
