Default 49 F-1 wheel cylinders

I'm not ready to delve too deep into my F-1 yet but one of the rear wheel cylinders is leaking pretty bad and I want to keep it drive-able. The question is this, the rear end is a 9 inch unit and I would suppose it was installed with all the brake hardware from the later truck? I don't even know if the backing plates and etc. are interchangeable from 49 to the later F100? So should I order parts for a 57 and later truck?
