Default 1927 Roadster Body rebuild

I have a 1927 roadster body in need of much TLC. Is there a restoration manual that covers the do's and don'ts of trying to rebuild one of these bodies? There is about 2" of the body wood left on it and most of the panels aren't connected quite as solidly as they were 90 years ago...

I thkn I have an idea of how to tackle it but a reference couldn't hurt.

Thanks,

Not much wood in the 1927 bodies unless it was auzzi built.
No manual that i'm aware of... (could have done with one myself) i had photos of the structure for a 27 roadster but the drive they were on appears to have gone missing.

This shows some body rail type structure with angle iron type uprights holding the outer skin and door striker, also forming the support for the seat back.

This shows the floor part near where the pedals go, and the pillar riveted to it that the door hinges screw to.

This might be of some help

Thanks for the info.

Jack, if I had seen your ad a month ago I would have been very interested. I picked up a Ducati in St. Catherines last spring... now I havn't got the money or the space for another whole car though.
