Gettysburg was my first V8 meet and also first time out with my 35 3 Window Coupe. I was honored to be on the same field in a sea of phenomenal V8 Fords - also very appreciative of the Touring A class and the award bestowed on the Coupe in that class. It was great to meet so many "barners" in person! A very warm and friendly scene for sure!

Peter, thanks for coming to the Gettysburg EFV-8 Club Meet and bringing that beautifully built '35 3W Coupe. I am a bit biased on this because a '35 3W Coupe was my first car at age 15 and probably my all time favorite early Ford V-8, but If I had to pick my favorite car at this show, your 3W Coupe would have to be at the top of the list.
It would be great if you would consider keeping us up to date here on your latest project.

Hi Everyone, PeterC, Thanks so much for bringing your amazing car. I really enjoyed chatting about it for a few minutes before I had to begin judging. And am also sorry I didn't get to chat after I'd finished. I happened to be inside the hotel when the deluge came and by the time I'd gotten to the field many cars were under cover or in trailers. JM told me your car sounded great when you started it up! You'd have gotten the "Best In Show - Modified" award from me if there was such a thing!
JM had three photos and someone else posted a couple, so the car is getting at least a little exposure.

The only complaint I've heard about the meet was from a woman who said the hotel didn't have enough coffee in her room! We will keep that in mind when we organize another meet!

I coined a motto when I did Saratoga. If you please 80% of the people then you've done 100% of the job.

Hopefully a lot of the lessons learned will make it to the Northern VA club for next year. I know there is overlap in members so it should happen. Since I have been trying to get mine to a meet all the way back to Saratoga, I better make the one in my back year next year.
