Default rear axle seals

Just some information. I am rebuilding a 40 Ford rear end. I found a seal that will press from the outside into the axle housing and seal in the rear end oil. It is a SKF 11050. I made the tool to drive it in.

Found this on epay.

Is this like the ones you are using?

I found some slightly different seals that will basically do the same thing. Unfortunately, I don't know the manufacturer's name nor their part number.

No the ones I found are without a flange. When you drive them in there is no way to remove them without separating the rear housing. The good thing there is enough room to install several of these. I put two in each side.
