Default no power to headlights

hello
i just wired my headlights and have no power to the lights the horn works fine i repainted the h/l bar so i thought ground i ran a ground wire from a head bolt to the mounting bolt for the headlight still not working tried a test light at socket did not light up the switch on the column seems to be working correctly what do i need to ck from here

ck for power from the headlight switch directly where it leaves the spider, using the appropriate color code... make sure you test it with the switch in the proper position to correspond with that particular circuit ...
then go further up the circuit... you may find the issue at the conduit sockets...

hello
what i found was the wire clip that holds the light switch body to the steering column was not holding the the switch body tight enough to the column i re bent it to hold it tighter and all is working now

Glad you found the problem. May I make a suggestion? Keep a wire with alligator clips in your car, wiith such a such a set up you would not need to run a wire, much less loosen a head bolt.

I did use a alligator clip I did not loosen the head bolt thanks for the suggestion
