Windshield finger pull finish
Are the windshield finger pulls for a 28/29 roadster painted or chrome?

Re: Windshield finger pull finish
For sure they weren't chrome, as everything plated except the bumpers and clamps on 28's and 29's were nickel plate. I am pretty sure they were painted either windshield color or black and not plated. However, they do look nice plated. BTW, there are two sizes of pulls, larger ones used on 30/31 open car windshields and slightly smaller ones used on later 28's and 29's. There is a picture in Technically Speaking volume 9, 10, 11 or 12 (I can remember which volume) showing the two pulls, side by side.

Re: Windshield finger pull finish
The early 28's did not have finger pulls. They were added in June. Thought I would mention that incase this is for your early 28. Rod
