Default 1929 model a ignition switch

Need instruction on the removal of key cylinder from switch. Switch is dissembled from housing, but unable to remove cylinder. Thanks in advance!

A recent issue of the Model A News had a detailed article on pop out switch restoration. It should be able to help you out.

If you don't have a key put a little clockwise tension on the cylinder and rake it. Those flat plate cylinders open real easy that way. You can use a little flat blade screwdriver for the tension and a bent up paperclip as the rake. A locksmith could do it in less than a minute with a set like this:
