Canuk40 Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2015 Location: Rosseau. Ontario Posts: 16	Safe max HP for a stock frame I am considering a few options to boost the power to my 1940 Ford sedan. How much power can the frame safely sustain before you should box it? I think that the most I would consider is approx. 300hp, with a 4 speed auto trans and 3.73 gears.
