Re: Is F150 Discussion is off limits now?
Probably got deleted because of the thread raising a stink about the fordbarn not being "purist" enough. You guys that want pure, unmodified, Model A content only...you complain, you may get EXACTLY what you want.

I was wondering why my post count sometimes goes backward instead of forward.

I've checked the "The Hokey Ass Message Board". Thier attitude of "Spreading the gospel of traditional hot rods to hoodlums world wide" doesen't interest me. Ron W

I appreciate the discipline of this site. It is by far the "best site" I check daily on bikes and cars. Keep it pure so we can learn from each other.

The ones that own the site make the rules as it should be. Lets let them do there thing and work with what we got. You will never get us all to agree on every thing.

This is a very informative site, yeah it gets off topic sometimes but by and large it is kept on a short leash which is a good thing. I have sent us off on my share of rabbit tracks as well.

Re: Is F150 Discussion is off limits now?
I'm the rebel who says let's open it up, a LITTLE, I asked a question a few weeks ago about my JD and a problem I had with the tire chains. I couldn't think of where else to go. There's a heck of a lot of knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences in this site and now and then I'd like to tap into some of it. My Case 580E, Backhoe is doing funny things and I'm sure someone in here knows why, but I'm too nervous about asking and I don't know squat about diesels. and I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't want to run afoul of Ryan or Cobb and I know there's some squealers in here who'll report you in a minute. So Rather than just go on to the next post, they feel they have to stop you. I never thought that the "Off Topic" privilege was being abused.
