Model A front spring
Greetings all,
I have a front spring that was on the frontend that I bought for my car. Today, I went to press in the new bushings into the eyes and the bushings were way too small. I don't remember there being more than one front spring on the cars but I could be wrong. Alternately, could I have been sent the wrong bushings? I was sent four that were all the same size along with two shackles and two of the bushings pressed into the spring perches just fine.

Re: Model A front spring
The spring eye on all passenger springs was the same size however there were several other aftermarket spring manufacturers back in the day. Your spring may be an aftermarket.

An older thread on that topic here. Seems to a manufacturing anomaly?
