Default 1926 Model T Project

My father has a 26 Model T 2 door sedan that he started to restore in the early 80's. I was a kid when he first started working on it. He has done most of the body work and the frame, engine, transmission, wheels are all finished and are assembled, so I have a rolling chassis. The engine has not been run since it was redone. different family circumstances can up and the car was put aside and that is how it is today. I want to finish the car, but feel overwhelmed on where to begin. I have thought I should start with the running gear and get that finished and get the engine running, so I know I have a running chassis before starting to gather the parts together finish the body work and paint. Any advice , suggestions and if you know of any books that can help that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes, get the chassis in order then go to the body. Don't be intimidated. This ain't brain surgery. The Model T's 1908 technology is relatively simple, but it's not always what you expect. That's where the books come in. Knowing what to expect before you dive in can save you some hassle and expense.

Not sure where you are located in N.D., but try to find a local T club or chapter. Local help is priceless. Lots of parts and useful info still available in the good old upper mid-west. Keep posting here anytime you need help. Good luck.
