Hi Guys,
Sorry it took a few days to post these pics, I ended up taking over 1,400 and had to edit them all before posting. As most people have said about Hershey 2013 it was the rainy. I managed to walk around all day Wednesday and until 2pm Thursday before the deluge struck. Covered all of the Car Corral, Red field and Chocolate field. Never made it across the bridge for the Orange and Green. As I was walking around the Red Field on Wednesday, a Model A'er and Fordbarn member came up to me and said "Tim, every year I get home from Hershey, go on Fordbarn and look at all your pics and everything you show I say 'I never saw that!'" So, even if you went, take a look at the pictures, you never know what you missed. If you want to see all 1,400 pics, you can go here. http://s764.photobucket.com/user/WTS...Hershey%202013 ![]() Tuesday had a great sunset that left me marginally optimistic that the weathermen were wrong about the rest of the week. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

When it started to absolutely pour down rain on Thursday my group went to the AACA Museum...
![]() Due to the rain on Friday, we went and picked up stuff from various vendors we had to see but made the obligatory trip to Chocolate World pretty early in the day. Then we went to the Hershey Museum, some nice people gave us free tickets as we were walking from the parking garage to the museum so we got in for free, not sure it would have been worth the $10 otherwise. After that we went to the Hershey Lodge to check out the cars up for Auction at the RM Auction that night. There were a lot of Woodies in the auction, including this Ford Sportsman ![]() I also got to spend quite a bit of time looking at A189... ![]() ![]() ![]() Despite the rain ruining Thursday afternoon and Friday on the fields, I still managed to have a great time and got some cool stuff. Got this Moto-Meter with a Dealer Insert from a guy who has had it for sale in the Red field for the past three years or so. He came down in his price this year so I bought it. R.D. Cunningham was an old Ford Dealer in Evanston, Illinois. I also have an original sales brochure with the dealer info stamped on it. ![]() Overall, yeah, I'd say it was a good Hershey. Lots of people. Lots of vendors. Lots of vendors closing up shop early because of the rain. It was also the first year I sold parts, made a couple bucks, nothing huge but enough to make me happy. However, as always, the best part is getting to see all my old friends and meeting some new people. The good news is, we're less than a year away from the next Hershey.. Thanks -Tim |

Thanks for the great pictures Tim. I was there but only did red, white and some of green before the deluge. I thought that 32 sedan in red field was a pretty good deal even without motor at I think 14K. I was cold and wet so couldn't concentrate. Thanks again now I can see it and stay dry. Barry B./ Ma.

Last year I saw a 29-31 Woody Sedan (Panel) Delivery ?. I wanted it but thought I could find a real Deluxe Delivery during the year. Never did. I was speaking to the Ehrenhofers at the MARC chili lunch and they said there was a Woody in the Car Corral. I finished lunch and wandered over there. It was the same one except for graphics on the sides. I got in it and out of the rain and decided to buy it. Put down a deposit. The owner took it to his friends house a few hours away and put it under cover. He delivered it to Winchester VA last week I met him at Wal-Mart and put it on my trailer and took it home the next day. I will post a picture when I remember how.

Thanks for all the great photos. My '29 60C project didn't sell, guess I'll keep it. Bob

Thanks for posting all the pics. I decided to go after reading all the posts prior to the event. So i packed up and headed for my first Hershey! I arrived @ about 2:15p.m.Thursday, It wasn't exactly how I pictured it. I met some great people & had some good conversation, I bought a couple souvenirs and left for home about 1p.m. Friday unsure of what I thought about Hershey. Now after a little time to reflect I can't wait to go again! Like they say "Never judge a day buy the weather!" (although sometimes its harder than others!
