I have a 8A-17080-A2 1948 Ford V8 passenger bumper jack which is also for earlier model V8's and I would like to make up a jack handle for this jack, refer to photo, as the parts, and this jack are hard to find.
I would be pleased to obtain the measurements of this handle, and I would say it would be made out of 9/16" round steel which would fit into the mechanism of the jack, with a tongue on one end to remove the hubcap and on the other end there would be a 45d bend to the wheel nut socket. |
