Original cars are nice cause you never see nice ones. But there is a line and that original head liner was nasty and id change it too. Id rather have a survivor with a couple of new things than a fully restored car. But to each his own

I went to buy a 29 woodie from a lady in mass. and there was steel wool in the tailpipe. She told me the mice got in and ruined the motor and friends from the Model A club helped her change out the engine so she could sell the vehicle, and didn't want it to happen again. I lost two quad motors to the F...***** buggars peeing in the carburetor as they ate the foam air cleaner element.

one should always listen to others and consider their ideas. consider is the important part as no one knows everything. growing in any hobby just happends and advice just might help you along. everyone has stupid or less correct ways and ideas in the beginning. think of some of the early attempts you might have that turned out ugly that could have been avoided if some advice had been heeded.

I do admit that it took me a couple of years to decide to tear it out. I do suggest people not jump right in an tear apart an original car
