A friend had a rock fly up and busted his battery while driving down the road. Maybe a group 1 in a battery box might be the ticket as the box will take up so room.

Maybe "Miss Victoria" could come up with a battery box / holder (without the master cylinder) that would fit the bill. I've often thought about the fact that the battery is in a rather vernable place to get damaged.

Years ago I've seen them with MUD pushed up almost to the top edge of the battery and you would literally have to DIG the battery out to replace it! Yes, at Chief's station, I was the battery digger & the rest room cleaner! Bill W.
