Ordered Cartouche kit for my 1939 PU. On first try the headliner was 2" short of filling the gap between the header and the headliner. I called, explained my problem and got a new headliner that fit within a few days. I would use Cartouche again if the new owners of Macs haven't " improved" everything.

I have had three experiences with credit card purchases in the past where-in the company did not ship the merchandise after charging the card. I was within the window allowed to cancel the transaction which is somewhere between 60 & 90 days.
I find it to be very dishonest for a company to take money from customers when they are on the verge of going out of business just so they can improve their financial position at the expense of the customer.. I know, good intentions are like arm pits, everybody has them.

I have a 39 std coupe here in New Zealand presently being upholstered with Le Baron Bonney material that I bought about 10 years ago. Lucky I got it so long ago I guess.

No. Not that I am aware of. At least not an interior with authentic materials, colors and fabrics. However, I know a man in St. Louis who just restored a '46 Mercury. I can get you his contact information and he can tell you where he got an interior. I beleive it was a custom job using materials he scourced himself.

It's Bill Hirsch and no, he doesn't sell material. He did at one time. Not anymore.

Is that somewhere online you sourced that from? Looking for something for my 1940 Ford Deluxe still.

I am working on my Model A roadster's interior. I have a 'brand new' set of LB seats and new seat springs. still in the plastic 'bags' originally shipped to me in. have had them for quite some time... imo, very nice work!

The Broadcloth has a specific "rub rating", industry term, not mine, that meets and exceeds standards for upholstery. I've had mine in my truck now for a few years no pilling or wear through. Very comfortable too as well it was less expensive that options offered by Cartouche at the time and this quality far exceeds that. |

I did get a headliner from SMS Auto. They had sent me samples, and the headliner sample was a 90% match to the original 1940 sample. But the one they ended up sending me wasn't even close to the sample they sent. So I had them redo it, and it should be here in a few days.
