All I can say is bite the bullit and by the best you can,I use a snap on one,not cheap but has the rpm displayed and you can shift the timing so you can check the advance.
I use a small 12v bat when on my 6v flatheads Had it for probably 20yrs,never missed a beat. Lawrie |
