Little dogs that are kept close tend to grieve for their master if very much time passes that they don't see them. This sounds serious for Bill at his age and rehab could take a while. Hoping for the best and a quick recovery.

I'm sure Bill will recover quickly , he is a tough old bird. I also understand the devotion our four legged friends can give us. I lost two of my little buddys this year alone.
