Actually The center clamp that was used May 1929 through the end of 1929 was smaller than the other bumper clamps. This clamp was painted blue in the recesses and was steel clad and chrome plated. The next clamp that was used all through 1930 was the same but stainless clad. I believe this to be correct information according to Brattons . For national judging, you might check the judging standards.
