Default Oil?

I understand that it is a good idea to use oil in the flathead that contains zinc. What kind or brand of oil do people recomend?

oils that have sj-sl or sm in the donut on the front of the container has all the zink you will need, any other letter combination is not recommended, do not use the oil that has the red circle on the container that says for gasoline engines, that is the new oil designed for modern engines with roller tappet cams, those engines do not need zink, don't use it in older engines

I just changed oil in the 34 roadster & used castrol 20/50 + a qt of MMO. I could not believe how much quieter the engine is. The was a bit of valve noise before now you can hardly hear them.
One of these years I need to get that *** paint off there. Blue ,green, black, red anything but orange. What do some folk use for common sense, maybe the guy was /is colorblind.
