Here are a couple of pictures which explains what Jim Parker is refering to.
If in fact the front left wheel is the early style and is the only one on your car that is I would suggest you might consider swaping it to the spare wheel until you find the correct one.

Great looking little coupe !!..I wounder how the taillight got upside down ?.I have a 30 coupe,,,I love how Ford used the earlier roof on the latter coupe's with slight change's

Thanks everyone. I can update ya'll a little bit on this car. The man I bought it from found it in Missouri stored in an actual barn where it had been sitting since around 1980 covered with a tarp. He bought it, brought it home, cleaned it up, fluids/battery/etc and started it up. It is still 6 volt. He was told it is an older restoration but the other party could not remember when (belonged to a past relative). He bought the car just recently with the only intention of turning it. I just got lucky for a change and was the second caller. The first caller didn't come thru with the cash, so I got my dad to go get it for me. I won't get to see it until I get home and go get it in 2 more weeks.

Current plans? I don't know yet. I was originally looking for something to rod with a little chop etc. Now, I'll just wait until I see it. My wife wants me to clean it and turn it then find something not as complete for my project. I don't know...it would really not be right to take it down if it's as nice as it looks in the pictures.

Please don't "rod" it, it's too nice. Having built a few (looked stock from the outside) I know what you want to do, but please find an old body and put it on a Brookeville or So-Cal chassis. JMO

To be honest, I'm really leaning toward cleaning it up with a new interior etc. My brother has a 30 Coupe and it would be kinda cool getting them out together. Maybe I can get my wife to look the other way while I find another candidate. After all, it's better to ask forgiveness...which I do have a lot of practice doing.

You could always just lower it and change wheels,but keep the banger and 3 speed like these examples. Best of both worlds IMO. Keep all the original stuff to convert back when you get older.

Last one is mine i just bought. Has all to convert back when wanted to above photo,which i think looks good too, just not ready for that look yet.
