Default Re: Ford Flat Head V8 engine block brace

I made one that holds the engine in the north-south direction instead of cross wise like the exhaust mount one. Made the spacers between the mount plate and bell housing holes long enough to allow flywheel/clutch work but most important is the additional brace from the top of the mount plate to the rear four intake bolt holes. My stand is a four wheel heavy duty one so I don't know if a Harbor Freight one could take it but my head plate is welded to a 3/4 ton spindle and turns in bearings so it's not a problem.
