Cigar City Flatheads T-Shirts up-date

So far we've received just over two dozen request for Cigar City Flatheads T-Shirts but, in order to keep the cost per T-Shirt reasonable (say around $20.00 as the printing cost escalates based on the number of colors used in the logo), we need to do a minimum order (that we have not reached as yet). I appreciate all the interest and hope we'll be able to provide T-Shirts so, if you'd like one or two or three... let me know. You can email me at [email protected]. As soon as we have met the minimum requirement, we'll have the T-Shirts made.

Hi Jeff, too bad you can't get out of work... The cash part is not a problem as we each just kick in enough for a tank of gas (that's usually enough for the round trip) we stay at my moms so no motel cost... only other expense is if you want to eat...
Hope to see you Saturday, everyone should get to my place around 9:30 am. Vic

CRS Strikes Again

I thought I saw a post the talked about charging a cell phone of off a 6 volt positive ground Cigar Lighter receptacle but I can't find it and I don't remember what the end result was... Can anyone tell me if it is doable or not If it is doable, can it be done without any additional electrical apparatus Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Vic, KGS has the latest FB post on this subject. There have been others but the initial post on this thread gives great info with pictures on how to do the wire up. I had already done this on my '35 fordor and had good success with cell phone charging but not such good success with my GPS. My post on this thread explains the problem I had with GPS.

Ken & JM, thanks for the info. John, I don't need a GPS, everyone always tells me where to go...

In order to keep the cost per T-Shirt reasonable (around $20.00) I would have to order a large quantity and, unfortunately, the number of request did not meet the minimum order requirement.

I’ve got the names, etc. of all who responded so, if you’d like to be bedecked in sartorial splendor at your next car show, let me know. As soon as we reach the minimum requirement to order, I’ll put everything in motion. You can email me at: [email protected]. Don't forget to include your size and the number of T-Shirts you'd like.

Thanks,

Vic
Vic, I know you have me down for one XL but may I please get two others - two larges.

PM me what I owe you when the time comes,
Tom

Tom, I'll make note of your request, thanks. I still have not received enough request to meet the minimum requirement (that would enable me to charge around $20.00 for each T-Shirt). Just like Henry Ford did, if we get more orders, the price of shirts will drop.

John, I'm not really taking orders, just trying to see if we get enough interest to go forward with the project. I'll put you on the list, thanks. Vic

We don't smoke and we don't chew and we don't go with the girls that "do". You had to know that one was coming.

We had big fun at my garage yesterday however, my computer crashed on Friday and I just got it back this afternoon so, with your indulgence, I'll post our antics from yesterday later tonight or tomorrow. Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

As I intimated in my previous post, we had fun on Saturday. Steve drove up in his ’46 Coupe and we installed a new rubber ball on the wishbone. Steve had already installed the Bill Wzorek rebuilt shocks.

Mike & Don came over to play as well and we had a visit from a guy that built and drives a blown 276 ci. Flathead in a “T” Bucket.

Mike served as our model and adorned the Cigar City Flatheads T-Shirt that John aka Old Ford 2’s wife Barb made.

Now we’ve got just about everything done to the cars to ready them for the trip up the Dawsonville, Georgia on the 25th of October.

And thank you very much for the pizza and using your lift to change out the radius rod bushing. It certainly made the job easier. Steve
