Here is a picture of my car...purchased from the original owner in 1963 when I was in High School..(49 years ago) for $175 but he never gave me all the stuff he sold me so I only paid him $125.. I have been restoring it as I go, all these years...I taught auto shop and they let me play when the students were gone...
I am trying to use only original parts...other than the BB motor and Glide Away rear end... Last edited by jrapose; 07-20-2012 at 11:03 AM. Reason: to add picture |

And yes, 20 years ago I liked the whitewall Goodyears... but now I would go blackwalls... the color is the same color that was under the gas tank when I took it apart...Moleskin brown... but as I understand from the Ford letters...it is a Deluxe model and it could be painted any standard Ford color.. The man I bought it from was dead by the time I located the original color..so I could not ask him...

What do you mean, Glide Away rear end, I've never heard about before..... something old, something new, any pictures of this?
